The film will be screened at the 2011 National Convention of the Association of Writing Programs, one of the nation’s biggest events for writers. More details coming soon.


Screening: April 2010 at the Andre Dubus Symposium

The film will screen in April at the Andre Dubus Symposium, at St. Anselm College, New Hampshire. More detail to come.

On April 8-10, 2010, the English department at Saint Anselm College will host a conference examining the achievements of Andre Dubus (1936-1999) and Andre Dubus III.

Sessions will be in the morning and afternoon of Friday and Saturday, with an after-luncheon keynote speech and a dinner reception and reading on Friday.

To register, print out the registration form below and mail to Professor Edward J. Gleason at Saint Anselm College. Registration fee is $125 (not including Friday evening dinner) – $85 for students. Checks may be made out to “Saint Anselm College.”

Film Festivals and Screenings

The film premiered at The Rhode Island International Film Festival, where it received 1st prize in the Providence Film Festival category. It was the opening night film at The Newburyport Documentary Film Festival, was also screened at The Black Earth Film Festival at The Carl Sandburg House in Gaylesbug, IL. The film was an official selection at The New England Film Festival.

The film has been screened at The University of North Carolina-Wilmington’s Writer’s Week 2008, at Emerson College, The University of Massachusetts-Boston, Tufts University and other colleges and schools.
